A real gourmet chicken recipe, this chicken recipe is easy to make, quick and tastes wonderful.
Chicken: 5 Pounds
Butter: 3 Tablespoons
Salt: 1 pinch
Pepper: 1 pinch
Herb Mix: 1/2 cup
Honey Dijon Mustard: 1/2 cup
Preheat the oven to 350. Wash and dry the chicken. Spread the butter, herbs, salt, and pepper over the breast, legs and wings. Place chicken on a back in deep, roasting pan. Bake for 30 minutes per pound or until the juices run clear. Baste frequently, add water if necessary. Turn bird occasionally to brown evenly. Basting the bird with pan juices will give the bird a glazed coating. For a crusted topping sprinkle flour over bird after spreading butter on outside.
